Open data that can be freely reused or redistributed by anyone
The main objective of the project for the re-use of public sector information in the Principality of Asturias is to define a general strategy to improve the access of interested parties to the public information held by the Government of the Principality. The aim of the regional administration is to facilitate the re-use of this information by third parties, as well as by the internal bodies themselves or other public administrations.
To this end, from www.turismoasturias.es a data catalogue has been launched with the aim of making the information produced and managed by the tourism section of the Government of the Principality publicly available, as an exercise in transparency and as a basis for improving citizen and business participation, as well as to promote innovation and the creation of social, entrepreneurial, employment, business and destination value thanks to the opportunity for new business models for companies and investors, so that both individuals and market agents can benefit from public information and offer new products, ideas and services with high added value.
Therefore, this RISP section (Re-use of Public Sector Information), enabled within www.turismoasturias.es is the central informative and divulgative point of the services of re-use of public information in the field of tourism of the Government of the Principality of Asturias.
