The refuge is located in the Terenosa sheepfold, 40 minutes from the Pandebano pass on the way to Urriellu, in a bucolic landscape surrounded by shepherds' huts and pastures where cattle graze in summer.
It is at an altitude of 1,300 m. and is open all year round, subject to reservation. From November until Easter, it is advisable to book 3 or 4 days in advance. 20 places are available. There is room for 20 people, and when the guard is not present, the refuge has a bunk bed area with the same number of places.
