The Marqués de Villaviciosa Hut, also known as the Vega de Ario Hut, is located in the Western Massif of the Picos de Europa.

At an altitude of 1,630 m., it is perfectly situated for both those who do long walks and those who just want to take a stroll through the Picos and enjoy a good meal and a cool drink.
The location of this valley means that the Refugio del Marqués de Villaviciosa has one of the best views of the Picos. From here you can see the Central Massif or the Urrieles Massif where the peaks of Torrecerredo, Llambrión, El Tesorero, etc. stand out, as well as the most emblematic peaks of the Western Massif, such as Jultayu, Cuvicente, La Verdilluenga...
A quiet place where you can rest, regain strength and spend a very pleasant and homely time, where they will be happy to assist anyone who approaches.
