Meicín Refuge

If you come to the refuge in winter, it is advisable to use the "winter path", which is well signposted in the village (Tuiza de Arriba), to avoid avalanches.

Located at an altitude of 1,500 m, once you have arrived there are endless possibilities for enjoyment, walking, climbing, nature photography..., and if not enjoy a good meal in the incomparable surroundings of these mountains.
The refuge has 42 places and is guarded, although in the absence of the guard there are two places.

How to get there?
The easiest and quickest way to get there is from the village of Tuiza de Arriba, which is on the road between Campomanes and Puerto de la Cubilla. There is a car park at this point and it takes about 45 minutes to get to the refuge.
