Event declared a Festivity of National Tourist Interest

The Ermita de Guía is five hundred years old, and there has been news of this devotion in the fishing village of Llanes for as many years.

It begins on the 7th of September with the celebration of the novena, after which there is a night procession followed by a verbena.

On 8 September, the day of the patron saint's day, there is a solemn mass, a procession around the hermitage with the Danza de Arcos, a meal and a pilgrimage in the field of La Guía, ending with another verbena.
