El Carbayu

Event declared a Festival of Tourist Interest of the Principality of Asturias.

The Hermitage of El Carbayu, where the patron saint of the council is located, hosts the most important country pilgrimage in Langreo, with traditional Asturian costumes, the puya'l ramu, picnics, etc.

Legend has it that the Virgin appeared on a hundred-year-old tree in the village. The temple was built on the spot where the oak tree was located.
