Xivares' 1st and 2nd beaches / Peña María Beach

Ideal for all types of public

Xivares Beach is in fact two beaches. It is the union of Xivares 1 and María Peña (or Xivares 2). Together, they make up an 800-metre-long beach of white sand with moderate swell and major variation in its width, depending on the tides.

At low tide, they join up with Aboño Beach and all three can be seen from the top of the Campa de Torres, forming an interesting view of the coastline all the way to Cape Peñas. It should also be noted that the westernmost beach, Peña María, is frequented by nudists.
