Info
Asturias’s westernmost coastal gem
Just before crossing the Puente de los Santos bridge over the River Eo, which links the Principality with Galicia, there is a turn-off on the right leading to Arnao beach, the westernmost in Asturias. With fine white sand and calm, crystal-clear waters, Arnao offers a stunning panoramic view of the Galician and Asturian coasts.
It has good facilities, easy access and lifeguards during the summer months. At high tide, the sandy area is greatly reduced.
Access is via a small path down the hillside and some concrete steps.
Located in the village of Figueras. It forms part of the Río Eo, Oscos and Terras de Burón Biosphere Reserve.
