One hundred metres of golden sand sheltered by the cape of San Agustín
On the eastern side of Cape San Agustín, in the council of Coaña, we find the beach of Arnelles, a small sandy area 100 metres long, with golden sands, moderate waves and little occupation due to its access on foot.
Nestled in a rugged environment, it is located near the beautiful fishing port of Ortigueira, a place that is worth a visit and where you can find different services. It is well equipped.
The beach is part of a Special Protection Area for Birds (SPA) and a Site of Community Importance (SCI).

Daily: 01/07 to 31/08 from 12:00 to 19:00h.
If you travel with your pet you should know that...
- The access and presence of pets on the beach is prohibited from 15/06 to 15/09.
- Pets are allowed on the seafront and urban promenades, in the areas near the accesses to the beaches, provided that they are kept on a fixed leash of no more than one metre in length and, when necessary due to the characteristics of the animal, they must be muzzled.
