Bahínas Beach

A rugged landscape covered with dark sand

A small bay with dark sand, sheltered from the winds. That's Bahinas Beach, in the borough of Castrillón. Barely 200 metres of great scenic beauty and a heavy swell, classified as a Special Protection Area for Birds (SPA) and Site of Community Importance (SCI)

Usually uncrowded, the sediments to be found on Bahinas Beach include fossil remains and pebbles. There is a camping site in the surroundings with a stream flowing through it that flows into the sea at the eastern end of the beach.
