A rugged landscape covered with dark sands.
A small shell, sheltered from the winds and with dark sand. This is the beach of Bahínas, in the council of Castrillón. Barely 200 metres of great scenic beauty and strong waves,
Bahínas beach is not very frequented, but its sediments include fossil remains and pebbles. Nearby, there is a campsite with a stream running through it that ends at the eastern end of the beach.
Classified as a Special Protection Area for Birds (SPA) and Site of Community Importance (SCI).

- The access and presence of pets on the beach is prohibited from 15/05 to 15/09.
- On the promenades, in the vicinity of the beaches, except in the dune systems and on the peninsula of La Peñona, pets are allowed all year round, but must always be kept on a fixed leash of no more than two metres in length and, when necessary due to the characteristics of the animal, must be muzzled.
