Borizu Beach

It is joined to Borizu Isle (aka Arnielles Isle) at low tide

Borizu Beach is one of the beaches in Celorio, along with Las Cámaras Beach (aka Playa de los Frailes) and Palombina Beach. Less developed than the others, it does share with them a high influx of bathers, good amenities, crystal-clear waters and white sand.

Borizu Beach has the peculiarity of being joined to Borizu Isle (aka Arnielles Isle) at low tide by an isthmus. This increases its scenic interest and makes the changing of the tides a beautiful spectacle. It appears in the films "Rowing in the Wind" (Gonzalo Suárez, 1988) and "You're the One" (José Luis Garci, 2000).
