A past as a whaling port, located on the island of Entrellusa since 1232.
Two small shells separated by a promontory, this is the beach of Carranques, located in the residential town of Perlora. It is a very popular beach, with good facilities.
With golden sand and moderate waves, it loses almost all of its sandy area at high tide. Its surroundings are of great scenic interest, with coves, caves and abundant vegetation.

If you travel with your pet you should know that...
- Pets are not allowed between 15/05 and 15/10.
- From 01/05 to 14/05 and 16/10 to 31/10, pets will be allowed until 10:00 and from 19:00 h., and the presence of pets between 10:00 and 19:00 h. is forbidden.
- Pets may not cause a nuisance to other users, and the owner must exercise control over the animal at all times.
- On promenades and urban promenades, in areas close to the accesses to the beach, the presence of pets is permitted provided that they are kept on a fixed leash of no more than one metre in length and, when necessary due to the characteristics of the animal, they must be muzzled.
