The capital of Llanes has a small urban cove
El Sablón beach is a small urban beach, located in the heart of the capital of Llanes. Bordered to the west by San Pedro point (which shelters a spectacular promenade) and bordered in turn by a path, this sandy area is about 100 metres long and has a car park and adapted access. It is a corner of the Asturian coast, with a semicircular shape, very crowded and with a safe bathing area.
Its name comes from the Asturian word for sand: sable.

If you travel with your pet you should know that...
- The access and presence of pets on the beach is prohibited from 01/06 to 30/09.
- In the case of abandoned animals wandering on the beaches, their owners will be responsible for them.
- Those who violate the prohibitions, or do not comply with the conditions set out above, must immediately leave the beach with the animal, at the verbal request of the Authority Agents or Rescue personnel, who will issue a report in order to investigate the appropriate disciplinary proceedings.
