Shell-shaped and with crystal-clear waters
La Concha de Artedo is one of the most special beaches in Asturias. It has been awarded the Blue Flag and has just over 700 metres of pebbles on the upper part and golden sand at low tide. It is well equipped and has a large number of bathers.
It enjoys crystal clear waters and is very sheltered. There are testimonies that speak of the anchoring of submarines in its waters during the Second World War, although there are no written documents to confirm this.

If you travel with your pet you should know that...
- The access and presence of animals on the beach is prohibited from 01/06 to 30/09.
- Pets are allowed on the seafront and urban promenades, in the areas near the beach accesses, provided that they are kept on a fixed leash of no more than one metre in length and, when necessary due to the characteristics of the animal, they must be muzzled.
