Shell-shaped with crystal-clear waters

Concha de Artedo Beach is one of the most special beaches in Asturias. Awarded Blue Flag status, it is just over 700 metres long, with pebbles at the top of the beach and golden sand at low tide. It has good amenities and is much frequented by bathers.

Forming part of the Western Coastline Protected Landscape, it boasts very sheltered, crystal-clear waters. There are testimonies that speak of submarines anchoring in its waters during World War II, although there are no written documents to confirm this.

It forms part of the Western Coastline Protected Landscape.
