La Cueva Beach

A zigzag path leads down an 80-metre cliff

A mighty cliff over 80 metres high separates bathers from this uncrowded, pebble and light sand beach with a strong swell. You have to climb down a zigzag path cut into the cliffside to get here.

Shell-shaped, La Cueva Beach can be considered an extension of La Vallina Beach, with which it shares a cove. Forming part of the Western Coastline Protected Landscape, this beach situated 15 kilometres from the fishing town of Cudillero has no amenities.

It belongs to the Western Coastline Protected Landscape.
