A safe town beach where you can eat, stroll and go diving
An urban beach in the tourist town of Candás, in the municipality of Carreño. It features 240 metres of golden sand bordered by a promenade leading down to the harbour. It offers a full range of facilities and the opportunity to enjoy various water and underwater sports.
It is a very safe beach and is very busy during the summer season. It features a rocky outcrop known as La Farola, which was once used as a watchtower by fishermen. There is a wide range of catering options in the surrounding area.

If you travel with your pet you should know that...
- Pets are not permitted between 15 May and 15 October.
- From 1 May to 14 May and from 16 October to 31 October, pets will be permitted until 10.00 and from 19.00, with pets not permitted between 10.00 and 19.00.
- Animals must not cause a nuisance to other users, and the owner must maintain control over the animal at all times.
- On seafront and urban promenades, and in areas near beach access points, pets will be permitted provided they are kept on a fixed lead no longer than one metre; where necessary due to the animal’s characteristics, they must wear a muzzle.
