Summer tourism and long walks from Salinas to San Juan

It is one of the most popular tourist beaches in Asturias, and also one of the largest. Although it is in itself 1,200 metres long, it is also connected to San Juan Beach. Together they comprise three kilometres of dunes with golden sand for walking, surfing or enjoying a swim in their waters, which have a moderate swell.

With very good facilities, Salinas Beach has an urban façade with a long promenade ending on a rocky promontory, where the Anchor Museum is located, which is made up of different sculptures. It boasts quality restaurants and other similar establishments. Outstanding among these is the Real Balneario de Salinas, a restaurant distinguished with a Michelin star.
