Summer tourism and long strolls from Salinas to San Juan
This is one of the most touristy beaches in Asturias, and also one of the longest. Although it is 1,200 metres long, it is joined to that of San Juan. Together they have three kilometres ofgolden sand duneswhere you can stroll, surf or enjoy a swim in its waters with moderate waves.
The Salinas beach is very well equipped and has an urban façade, with a long promenade that ends in a rocky promontory, where you will find the Anchor Museum, which is made up of different sculptures.
It has a quality range of hotels and restaurants. The Real Balneario de Salinas, which has been awarded a Michelin star, stands out.

If you travel with your pet you should know that...
- The access and presence of pets on the beach is prohibited from 15/05 to 15/09.
- On the promenades, in the vicinity of the beaches, except in the dune systems and on the peninsula of La Peñona, pets are allowed all year round, and must always be kept on a fixed leash of no more than two metres in length and, when necessary due to the characteristics of the animal, must be muzzled.
