A striking landscape dotted with colourful bathing huts
La Tercera, or Salinas, completes the collection of beaches in the town of Luarca/Ḷḷuarca. What makes these sandy beaches unique are the brightly coloured bathing huts that surround them. This is a distinctive feature of this stretch of coastline.
Despite being an urban beach, Playa 3ª has no vehicle access. It can only be reached on foot from the seafront promenade, but this does not deter visitors. It shares its calm waters with the neighbouring beaches.

If you travel with your pet you should know that...
- Pets are not permitted on the beach from 1 May to 30 September
- On seafront and urban promenades, in areas close to beach access points, pets are permitted provided they are kept on a fixed lead no longer than one metre and, where necessary due to the animal’s characteristics, must wear a muzzle.
