It is fed by the crystal-clear waters of the River Esqueiro
San Pedro de la Ribera, or San Pedro de Bocamar, is one of the busiest and most popular beaches in the municipality of Cudillero. It is a beach of golden sand and pebbles where the River Esqueiro flows into the sea. It has been awarded the Blue Flag for many years and in 2012 was granted the Q for Tourism Quality.
It boasts excellent facilities, a range of catering options and a lifeguard service. It is situated in Soto de Luiña, where a visit to a church linked to the Vaqueiros de Alzada is highly recommended.

If you travel with your pet you should know that...
- Animals are prohibited from entering or being present on the beach from 1 June to 30 September.
- On seafront and urban promenades, in areas close to beach access points, pets are permitted provided they are kept on a fixed lead no longer than one metre and, where necessary due to the animal’s characteristics, must wear a muzzle.
