A beach surrounded by environmental and cultural riches
Divided into two parts by a rocky outcrop, Vidiago beach has a straight shoreline, white sand, safe swimming and all the facilities visitors could need. Nearby are the Ídolo de Peña Tú and the Bufones de Las Arenillas.
Also known as Novales or de Bretones, this wide sandy beach is easily accessible from the village of Vidiago. It can also be reached from Buelna via footpaths across the coastal plain. It is very busy in summer.

If you travel with your pet you should know that...
- Pets are not permitted on the beach from 1 June to 30 September
- In the case of stray animals roaming the beaches, their owners shall be held responsible for them.
- Anyone who breaches these prohibitions or fails to comply with the conditions set out above must leave the beach immediately with the animal, upon verbal instruction from law enforcement officers or lifeguards, who will draw up a report with a view to initiating the appropriate disciplinary proceedings.
