It is the only beach in Gijón/Xixón where dogs are allowed all year round.
Playa del Rinconín or El Cervigón is an extension of Playa de los Mayanes. It is a small cove formed mainly by rocks and pebbles. It has a high number of visitors and is well equipped.
Bathing is recommended with caution. It is the starting point of the El Rinconín-La Ñora path, which is 9.3 kilometres long and is suitable for hiking and cycle touring.

- Those responsible must carry the animal's valid documentation with them at all times.
