El Puntal is a small sandy area located on the right bank of the Villaviciosa estuary, a stretch of coastline that has been declared a Partial Nature Reserve. It has a small wooded area, a welcoming golden sandy beach and a marina just a hundred metres away.
It is a semi-urban area, with services and public transport from the nearby town of Villaviciosa. Easily accessible by road, it has a promenade from which you can enjoy the views of Rodiles and Misiego.

- The access and presence of pets on the beach is prohibited from 01/06 to 30/09.
- Pets are allowed on the seafront and urban promenades, in areas near the beach accesses, provided that they are kept on a fixed leash of no more than one metre in length and, when necessary due to the characteristics of the animal, they must be muzzled.
