A leisure area with a promenade, a marina and a wooded area
El Puntal is a small sandy beach situated on the right bank of the Villaviciosa estuary, a stretch of coastline that has been designated a Partial Nature Reserve. It features a small wooded area, a cosy golden sandy beach and a marina just a hundred metres away.
It is a semi-urban area, with amenities and public transport links from the nearby town of Villaviciosa. Easily accessible by road, it has a seafront promenade from which you can enjoy views of Rodiles and Misiego.
If you travel with your pet you should know that...
- Pets are not permitted on the beach from 1 June to 30 September
- On seafront and urban promenades, in areas close to beach access points, pets are permitted provided they are kept on a fixed lead no longer than one metre; where necessary due to the nature of the animal, they must wear a muzzle.
