A very popular estuary with crystal-clear waters
The beach where the River España flows into the sea takes the form of a shell of golden sand, surrounded by vertical cliffs and rocks that make for a beautiful setting.
Its strong waves make it a reference point for surfing and its proximity to Gijón and Villaviciosa makes it a very popular beach.
The enclave is rural and lacks public transport.

- The access and presence of pets on the beach is prohibited from 01/06 to 30/09.
- Pets are allowed on the seafront and urban promenades, in the areas near the accesses to the beaches, provided that they are kept on a fixed leash of no more than one metre in length and, when necessary due to the characteristics of the animal, they must be muzzled.
