An isolated cove in an urban setting
It is a small cove of little more than 100 metres, made up of white sand and stone, which can be reached on foot from the town centre of Ribadesella/Ribeseya.
It is not a very busy beach, as it is a little out of the way and has moderate waves.
It is separated from the fishing village by Mount Corbero or La Atalaya, from which it takes its name.

If you travel with your pet you should know that...
- From 08/06 to 15/09 dogs are not allowed on the beach between 8:00 and 21:00. From 21:00 to 8:00 h. access is allowed when dogs are kept on a leash.
- Pets are allowed on the seafront and urban promenades, in the areas near the beach accesses, as long as they are kept on a fixed leash and, when necessary due to the animal's characteristics, they must be muzzled.
