This is an interpretation centre that illustrates the overseas emigration and its contribution to education in the council of Boal.

It is located in an old school built in the 1920's by "La Sociedad de Naturales del Concejo de Boal en la Habana". The centre has a classroom recreated using original materials from the schools built by the emigrants from Boal in the council. The visit to the centre can be complemented with a guided tour of the architecture of the emigration of the village of Bual and the Interpretation Centre of Los Lavaderos.
The village of Bual preserves one of the most representative nuclei of architecture related to emigration to America at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century in western Asturias.

Rates:
- Individual: 2,00€.
- Children and seniors: 1,50€.
- Groups (+15 people by appointment): 1,50€.
- Free: Tuesdays and children under 5 years old
