The aim of these collections is to illustrate life in an inland council of Asturias. The "Home" is represented through furniture and utensils that were never lacking in a village house, such as maseras, sideboards... which serve as a support for exhibiting a wide range of traditional Asturian ceramics.
The first floor is dedicated to "The School" with a documentary room and the recreation of a "Classroom of yesterday", arranged according to the memory of its protagonists, together with the desks, encyclopaedias, maps... giving the visitor a wide vision, not exempt of nostalgia, about the traditional school.
Guided tours are available.

Schedules and prices
Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday: 11:00 to 14:00 h..
Friday and Saturday: 11:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 19:00.
Closed: 9, 30 and 31 August.
Individual: 2 €.
Groups > 20 pax: 1,50 €.
Wednesdays and < 12 years old: Free
If you travel with your pet you should know that...
- Dogs of breeds considered potentially dangerous are not allowed.
- Access to the terrace or the outdoor area is possible.
- Pets other than dogs are not allowed
There are several rooms to visit, people with dogs must wait until there are no other visitors.
Dogs must be on their owners' collars at all times.
The museum is small, you cannot have dogs wandering around... even if they are on a leash, they trip over furniture, other people, etc.
It is necessary that they do not bark, no visitor wants to listen to a dog barking for an hour.
