A space for the exhibition and dissemination of the history and artistic and monumental heritage of the thousand-year-old town of Avilés through four main areas: The Medieval Village, the Modern Village, the Bourgeois City and the Industrial City.
A museum to explain the evolution of the city of Avilés and its development over the last centuries.
The content of the exhibition is divided into four main thematic areas, distributed over the four floors of the building, starting with the beginnings from the first settlement, passing through the medieval history and the bourgeois and industrial period, and ending with the present and the future of Avilés.
- Limited capacity. One-way tour.
- Only individual or family visits will be allowed.
- Access will be via Calle de La Ferrería, while the exit will be via Plaza de Camposagrado.
Schedules and prices
Tuesday to Friday: 10:30 to 13:30 and 16:00 to 20:00 h.
Saturdays: 11:00 to 13:00 and 16:00 to 20:00 h.
Sundays and holidays: 11:00 to 13:30 h.
Closed: Mondays, 24th, 25th, 25th, 31st December and 1st January.
