Aula del Oro

Located in the old prison building, it bears witness to the traditional link between Belmonte de Miranda and gold. A journey through the landscape and the historical evolution of the council, with gold and the mining processes linked to its extraction from the Bronze Age to the present day. During the tour of the exhibition you will be able to see replicas of pieces of castreña goldsmith's work, have fun digging in our archaeodrome (wheelchair accessible), see minerals extracted from the active gold mine El Valle-Boinás, and enjoy a semi-immersive experience.
