Through interpretive panels and with the aid of maps, timelines and photographs, the public can take a tour in the Reception and Interpretation Centre through the different stages of Pre-Romanesque art and the fifteen monuments that make up this architectural style. The centre also features models of Santuyano of Oviedo, San Salvador de Valdedios and Santa María del Naranco, in addition to an audio-visual projection, on loan from the Archaeological Museum of Asturias, on the churches and buildings that make up the Asturian Pre-Romanesque. In addition, visitors can find information in English, French and Braille.
The public can also make use of a reference point containing monographs on the monuments and Asturian Pre-Romanesque art. There is a specific area for the younger members of the family in which they can make their own drawings of the Asturian monuments during a visit to the centre.
There is also an interactive display, in Spanish and English, in which the details of the monuments and architectural phases of this art are explained.
