The chapel is used as a venue for cultural activities.

Los Dolores Chapel is the private chapel of the Miranda-Valdecarzana Mansion. Built in the 18th century, it should actually be considered a church on account of its dimensions.

It has a single nave, with a slightly higher section and a sacristy at the back of the presbytery.

It is entirely built in ashlar, the nave being reinforced with six buttresses. There are numerous bays in its walls.

The main façade has a lintelled door above which there is a semi-circular arch resting on pilasters with capitals. An impost marks the height of the nave.

The bell gable that crowns the façade is divided into two semi-circular arches on pilasters. It is topped by a pediment with three pinnacles and balls.

On one side, there is a magnificent Baroque portal which juts out slightly from the building, with a semi-circular arch on columns, flanked by decorated pilasters. Above this there is an entablature supporting an open pediment with pinnacles that houses a niche with columns on either side, crowned with a decorated frieze. Above the portal, and offset from the symmetrical axis there is lintelled bay.

The interior of the nave is covered with a barrel vault with lunettes and the highest section is covered with a dome on pendentives.
