Casa del Marco. Museum of the Peasant House

The house illustrates the way of life of the region’s rural community up until the mid-20th century. The complex comprises five buildings housing the various rooms of a traditional house: the living quarters with the entrance hall, the kitchen, the living room, the bedrooms, the loft and the oven cellar; and the remaining areas used for farming activities: stables, hayloft, shed, weaving room, carpentry workshop, henhouse, wine cellar, woodshed and potato store.

On the land surrounding the house, visitors can also enjoy seeing animals typical of an Asturian farmstead: hens, cows and a horse.
