The chapel of Santa Ana is the place of veneration of the patron saint of sailors. Located in the heart of the historic centre of Llanes, its structure has a front portico and a single, square nave. Dating from the 15th century, it has an interesting and recently restored 17th century altarpiece.
The image of this chapel is the protagonist of the seafaring procession of Santa Ana. On this day, the image of the Virgin walks through the streets of Llanes accompanied by pipers and sailors, who sing songs to the sound of tambourines.
