Corvera de Asturias

Corvera is internationally known, especially in the world of sport, for the Trasona Reservoir and its Canoeing and Rowing Sports Technification Centre. In this unique and beautiful spot, half the world's sporting achievements and medals have been sealed in different competitions and championships, mainly linked to the sports of canoeing and rowing. Trasona/Tresona is a symbol of the great sporting tradition of this municipality, very close to the coast, which delights visitors with places such as the Senda del Agua, ideal for fans of 'green' trekking and cycle tourism, or the Furta Wetland. In addition, those who enjoy religious art should not miss the church of Santa María de Solís, of pre-Romanesque origin and therefore very Asturian.
