El Gaitero Cider Cider Cider Mill

Sidra El Gaitero, based in Villaviciosa since 1898, is one of the most recognised brands in Asturias. Its winery in La Espuncia, on the banks of the estuary, has more than 40,000 square metres of facilities including apple reception areas, presses, cellars, bottling line, offices and the Permanent Collection.

The visits allow visitors to tour both the cellar and the Permanent Collection, offering a complete overview of the history and production process of cider. The tour lasts approximately one hour and includes a tasting of different cider products.

The activity takes place in groups with a maximum capacity of 24 people and requires prior booking, and confirmation is required. Reservations made less than one day in advance are not guaranteed. Children under 14 years of age can enter free of charge, provided they are accompanied by an adult.
