Vega de Ario Cheese Factory

The Gamonéu de Vega de Ario is handmade with a mixture of cow's milk (80%) and goat's milk (20%). This cheese has been awarded several times as the best cheese in Asturias, which says a lot about this product that is characterised by its smoky nuances and its extraordinary aromas and flavour.

The cheeses from our cheese factory are under the protection of the Gamonéu Protected Designation of Origin, which ensures the authenticity of the cheese.

Visits to the cheese factory include a tasting at the end.
