Info
Sixty metres high, Tabayón de Mongayo is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Principality. It originates from the Riega Mongayo, in the vicinity of La Campona, which is an enclave of great natural, scenic and educational value, located in the Redes Natural Park.
From a geological point of view, it is located in an area of great structural complexity, cutting through the base of a glacial cirque; in the surrounding area there are abundant surface formations such as glacial deposits and slope debris.
It can be reached via a route that starts in the village of Tarna.
