A large waterfall declared a Natural Monument.

With a drop of 60 metres, Tabayón de Mongayo Waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Principality. It is caused by Mongayo Stream, near La Campona, a spot of great natural, scenic and educational value. This enclave, located in the borough of Caso, forms part of Redes Nature Park.

From the geological point of view, it is in an area of ​​great structural complexity, cutting the base of a glacial cirque. Surface formations such as glacial deposits and scree slopes abound in the surrounding area.

It can be reached via a path heading out of the village of Tarna.
