Bear Watching

Activity to get to know the Cantabrian brown bear, which consists of a wait to try to observe the species in its natural habitat at dawn or dusk (which is when the chances of sightings are highest) and a tour to look for signs of its presence in the area (tracks, markings, etc.) and talk about its biology, habitat, conservation problems, etc.

The activity includes: qualified local guide, optical material (binoculars, tripods and telescopes), accident and civil liability insurance and entrance to visit the "Somiedo and the Bear" interpretation centre.
