The El Pinar Recreation Area is very close to the Salinas beach, at the beginning of the dunes, but on the other side of the road.

It has a barbecue area as well as rest areas, where there are wooden picnic tables distributed throughout most of the recreational area in the shade and among the trees, with the aim of providing rest and tranquillity for visitors.

There is also a public fountain with drinking water, waste containers, litter bins distributed throughout the area, and a fire hydrant in case of fire. In addition to all these services, this recreational area is accessible for people with reduced mobility.

It is important to point out that different species of native flora have been repopulated in this natural space.
