Both facilities are open to the public throughout the year. The recreation area boasts a scenic balcony overlooking the sea from which you can see much of the eastern coast of Asturias and western Cantabria. What's more, looking inland, you can enjoy privileged views of the Cuera Range and the Picos de Europa, with Picu Uriello Peak rising vividly in the distance on a clear day. The area has picnic tables and benches, a drinking fountain, grassy areas, a parking area and a footpath to the village of Pimiango. It is fully accessible from the road.
