Arbón Reservoir

The Arbón Reservoir, on the River Navia, combines scenery, sport and outdoor leisure activities. Rowing, sailing and fishing can be enjoyed on its waters, whilst motorboats are not permitted. The Navia Viewpoint Route (PR.AS-299) also starts from the area around the Puente de Castrillón River Recreation Area; this circular route, some 11 kilometres long, can be completed on foot or by mountain bike and offers different views of the reservoir and the valley. With a capacity of approximately 38.2 hm³, Arbón is an attractive spot for enjoying hiking, mountain biking, non-motorised activities and the surrounding countryside.

The surrounding area also offers various opportunities to explore the landscape of the Navia Valley. The Navia Viewpoints Route (PR.AS-299) starts from the Castrillón recreational area; it is a circular route of approximately 11 kilometres, suitable for walking and mountain biking, which offers different panoramic views of the reservoir and the surrounding valleys.
