From Asturias and Cantabria the quickest way to get there is to take the Autovía del Cantábrico (A-8/E-70) to Unquera. There you join the N-621, which leads directly to Panes. After passing the village, the area is about 800 m. away. If arriving from León, via Riaño, also via the N-621 through the La Hermida gorge. In this case the area is before reaching Panes.
