Astur Adventure

Experience the Sella River Descent with Astur Aventura, an iconic experience we’ve been offering since 1992. The activity begins at our base in Arriondas, where we provide all the necessary facilities: changing rooms, showers and lockers. Departures run continuously between 11.00 and 13.00.

The Sella River Descent is suitable for all ages, provided participants are at least 5 years old and can swim. Children up to the age of 12 qualify for reduced rates. We have canoes of various sizes, seating between 1 and 4 people. It is essential that all participants can swim, but don’t worry – our staff will provide you with basic instructions on paddling and handling the canoe.

Choose from two route options: 8 km in approximately 2 hours or 14 km in around 4 hours. Along the way, you can enjoy the scenery, paddle and stop to rest or take a dip in the River Sella.

The activity must finish before 6.00 pm to allow you to reach the pick-up points. Once finished, we’ll take you back to our base in Astur Aventura vehicles. Please come prepared with sportswear, suitable footwear for the water, sun cream and a towel.
