Aturruta

Aturruta is an active tourism company specialising in guided routes with environmental interpretation. It operates mainly in the Redes Natural Park, in the councils of Caso and Sobrescobio, in the Nalón Valley. Its local guides focus on the history, culture and rural customs of Asturias.

The outings are carried out in small groups and exclusively in permitted areas, in compliance with current regulations. The programme covers the whole year and adapts to the profile of the group without working as a closed catalogue. The routes go through valleys, forests and river basins, showing the characteristic biological diversity of the Cantabrian mountain range. Redes is part of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves, a framework that promotes a responsible approach.

The proposal combines environmental interpretation and knowledge of the territory, favouring a close and educational experience. The aim is to understand the landscape and its community from a conservation perspective.
