Info
IWORU, an ancestral Ainu word meaning 'field', encapsulates the richness of a river basin and its biodiversity, weaving myths about bears, salmon and oak trees. Our approach is based on the geographical, ecological and anthropological interpretation of the human environment, taking advantage of the physical characteristics and natural attributes of the land.
Our projects seek to comprehensively understand our environment, promote models of coexistence between all the actors in the territory and transmit ancestral knowledge to create more habitable and enjoyable environments. Through active tourism, we bring scientific research and dissemination closer to the general public.
We offer educational tours, hiking, environmental interpretation and observation of flora and fauna, all in small groups. We also provide territorial and environmental training for those interested in deepening their connection with nature.
