Nordés Surf School

Situated on the stunning Peñarronda beach, which has been designated a Natural Monument and is protected by the Natura 2000 network, Nordés SurfSchool offers a unique experience in western Asturias. Stretching for 600 metres, this beach is the ideal place to learn to surf thanks to its moderate waves and a designated area for lessons.

As well as the beach, the area offers a wide variety of places to explore, such as Tapia de Casariego, Castropol, Ribadeo and more, as well as other beaches like La Paloma, Serantes and Arnao.

Surf lessons at Nordés vary according to the tides and weather conditions, ensuring an optimal experience for every student. They offer beginner, intermediate, one-to-one and group lessons, all using high-quality equipment and qualified instructors to ensure safety and effective learning.

The school stands out for its commitment to the environment, using eco-friendly wetsuits and natural disinfectants for the surf gear. Furthermore, they have instructors who surf alongside the students and offer lessons in English with a native-speaking teacher.
