Olas Surf School

Olas Surf School offers you the chance to take your first steps into the exciting world of surfing at San Juan de Nieva beach, one of the best spots on the Asturian coast for beginners. For most of the year, this beach offers ideal conditions for learning to surf, and in summer, it features designated areas for water sports and a first-class lifesaving service in northern Spain.

Our facilities, situated right on the beach, together with the amenities available in the village of San Juan, make this the perfect setting to take your first steps in surfing. We offer a wide variety of courses tailored to all levels and timetables. You can choose between 2-, 5- and 7-day courses, or get in touch with us if you’d prefer a different option.

On all our courses, we provide all the necessary equipment, including a surfboard and wetsuit. Our main aim is for you to learn and improve your technique under the supervision of our instructors, who have extensive experience in sports coaching and are certified by the Spanish Surfing Federation. Furthermore, we guarantee your safety through our expertise in lifesaving and first aid, comprehensive insurance cover and top-quality equipment that is regularly checked and replaced.
