Spicy Surf

Picante Surf School is a reference point in the world of surfing, located in the port of Tapia de Casariego. Since its beginnings in the 90s, it has been a pioneer in the teaching of this sport in the west of Asturias and the Mariña Lucense. We offer a wide range of programmes adapted to all ages and levels, from beginners' group classes to advanced training and competition programmes.

During the summer, the school is open to all those who wish to enjoy, learn or improve their surfing. With two-hour group classes that include all the necessary equipment and insurance. The groups are formed according to the level and age of the participants, from 6 year old mini-surfers to adults. In addition, special inclusion classes for people with intellectual disabilities are offered in collaboration with local associations.

During the winter, we offer weekend programmes, training, extracurricular surfing and competition training. Our qualified and experienced instructors are a fundamental part of our family of surfers and professionals. Many of them are former students of our school and now share their passion for surfing with our students.

One of the outstanding projects of the Picante Surf School is the Tapiego Surf Championship, a non-profit event that promotes surfing at a local level and has become a reference in the area.
