Founded in 2003, Rompiente Norte surf school is renowned for offering a unique and safe experience to all those who wish to ride the waves under the guidance of experts in the sport.

At Rompiente Norte, we pride ourselves on our extensive experience and dedication to teaching surfing. Our highly trained team is made up of professionals qualified by the best national and European federations and sporting bodies, with recognition from the Ministry of Education and the Consejo Superior de Deportes.

Our priority is to offer quality and exclusive teaching, which is why we maintain a limited number of students per class. With a maximum group size of 25 people and a monitor to student ratio that never exceeds 1 to 7, we guarantee personalised and efficient attention so that each student makes optimum progress.

Safety is fundamental for us. All our materials are approved by the International Surfing Federations, and each student has a personal accident insurance during our classes. In addition, Rompiente Norte has a civil liability insurance to offer total peace of mind to our clients.

Located in the privileged Playa de los Quebrantos beach, at the mouth of the Nalón river, we enjoy an exceptional marine environment. With easy access, parking and first class services, we strive to maintain the beach in optimal conditions to offer a 5 star or blue flag experience.

Committed to the environment, we follow daily environmentally friendly protocols to minimise our impact on the marine environment. In addition, the Bajo Nalón region, where our school is located, offers an incomparable wealth of tourist attractions and landscapes of extraordinary beauty.
