At Somiedo Experience, our focus is on providing you with an authentic experience of nature in the Somiedo Natural Park, in Asturias. Our aim is for you to discover and enjoy the splendid landscapes of the Somiedo mountains and their natural riches in a genuine and respectful way.
Guided by experts who know the terrain inside out, we invite you to explore the park’s most authentic and wild corners. Our groups are small, with a maximum of 8 people, which allows us to tailor each outing and choose the most suitable route depending on the weather and the season, drawing on years of experience studying the behaviour of the native wildlife.
We specialise in wildlife-watching tourism, with a sustainable and minimally invasive approach. We want you to get to know the flora and fauna of Somiedo and discover its most ancient traditions. From brown bear sightings to hiking trails where you can admire the native flora and spot some of the protected species that inhabit the park.
We also offer unique experiences such as guided bivouacking, where you can enjoy the vastness of the night sky and wake up to birdsong in a stunning setting. We also organise excursions to discover the region’s lesser-known reptiles and amphibians, learning about their habitat and contributing to their conservation.

- Dogs of breeds considered potentially dangerous are allowed.
- Pets must be kept on a lead or under control at all times in accordance with the park’s regulations.
- Pets must be transported by their owners in their own vehicles to the start of the trails.
