Somiedo Experience

At Somiedo Experience, our focus is on giving you an authentic experience in and with nature in the Somiedo Natural Park in Asturias. Our aim is for you to discover and enjoy the splendid landscapes of the Somiedo mountains and their natural wealth in a genuine and respectful way.

Guided by experts who know the terrain, we invite you to explore the most authentic and wildest corners of the park. Our groups are small, with a maximum of 8 people, which allows us to personalise each outing and choose the most suitable route according to the weather and the season, based on years of experience studying the behaviour of the native fauna.

We are dedicated to wildlife watching tourism, with a sustainable and non-invasive approach. We want you to get to know the fauna and flora of Somiedo and discover the most ancestral customs, from brown bear sightings to hiking routes where you can admire the native flora and see some of the protected species that live in the park.

We also offer unique experiences such as the guided bivouac, where you can enjoy the immensity of the night sky and wake up to the sound of birdsong in a privileged environment. We also organise excursions to discover the most unknown reptiles and amphibians of the region, learning about their habitat and contributing to their conservation.
