Petronila House

A former boarding house and guesthouse, one of the first and oldest in Western Asturias, located in the centre of Taramundi, it is now a modern two-star hotel, where the characteristics of the buildings of the region were respected in the last refurbishment, with a stone façade and a wooden interior, where the client will find all the comforts of our times, with typical meals of the region and a friendly and familiar treatment, being able to enjoy the wonderful ethnographic sites of the surroundings, as well as in summer, enjoy the mountain air, and sea baths, as we are a little more than half an hour from the nearest beaches.

It has 18 complete rooms that offer peace, tranquillity, impressive views and an incomparable natural and cultural environment, aimed at all lovers of nature and the traditionally rural. It has a restaurant on the ground floor with well-known traditional local cuisine. Taramundi is a council recognised by Unesco within the Biosphere Reserve of the River Eo, Oscos and Terras de Burón, a perfect place to go hiking, visit the Ethnographic Ensemble of Os Teixóis and buy the well-known handmade cutlery of the area or enjoy the tapestries made on an old loom.
